- County-class, Kent-subclass heavy cruiser
- along with HMS Berwick, received similar rebuilds as Suffolk, except her hull wasn't cut down aft.
- sank the German commerce raider Pinguin early May 1941.
- sunk by Japanese aircrafts April 1942 together with HMS Dorsetshire, southwest of Ceylon (Sri Lanka)
