Product Description
This is my Interpretation of a Copper alloy Boar mount from Guilden Morden, in England. It is thought to be the crest of an early Anglo Saxon helmet from around the 6th or 7th centuries AD
The Original was made of Copper alloy (Somewhere between Bronze and Brass most likely). It was acquired by the British museum in 1904. The Orignal is badly worn and Broken, so I have had to fill in some details (Such as the mouth and fixing the ringlet on the Boar's rear end)
