'ying' came about with a very simple idea sparked by
re-contemplating the very basic decorative function a ring has on a finger.
It also re-defines the form of the 'ring' as a rounded circular structure in itself.
Like a little letter 'y', the finger is held by just 3 strockes of lines dividing diagonally.
Unike the typical ring that fits perfectly yet rather tightly on the finger,
even when ying is made to the perfet size, it seems to hold on to the finger without the tightness.
Despite coming from a very basic concept,
ying is unlike any rings and has its own individualistic quiet strength.
The design was initially created as a men's ring. But with its simple structural beauty,
it comes forth as a lovely item for the ladies' as well.
