Flexible interlinked mail.

Can be bent to a certain degree easily but will then resist further bending. Like chain mail but won't collapse. Wearable. Composed of elements with a flat center donut and melded donuts arranged symmetrically around the center, Each outside donut locks with the neighboring center donuts. The material extends at 120 degree angles and does not grid naturally to a square. Recommend printing in the strong and flexible, past the natural flex angles you will start to tension the plastic. Also suitable for posh coasters or adornment around the edges. Can be hung by a corner or linked for interesting grid effects.

 

I've test printed in stong and flexible white, came out perfectly. It has an incredibly organic feel reminiscent of a manta or sting ray's motion and in strong and flexible has enough flex to bring the loops on the furthest corners of the diamond together. I'll be experimenting with smaller paired versions as I've had some interest in using these for ear ornaments. The strong and flexible white can be dyed with fabric or hair dyes of your choice, I used boiling water and dye to change mine to red.
