These anatomical rings were created as a pair, but the finely detailed jaw worn alone creates an elegant and intriguing form all of its own.

First in a Cordycept series of paired skull and jaw rings, designed for 3d printing in precious and semi-precious metals. This process makes use of both contemporary digital fabrication techniques and traditional methods, as the digital model is first 3d printed in a castable wax, and the piece is then molded and cast in metal with the time honoured lost wax method.
