Togliatti Quintic, smoothed

This is a smoothed version of a so-called Togliatti quintic. In the 1930s, Togliatti constructed a new world record surface of degree five with 31 singular points. About 50 years later, Beauville showed that his world record cannot be improved with any other surface of degree five. So, Togliatti's quintic is an example of a mathematical world record that will stay forever.
We provide three different sizes: small (9.5cm / 3.7in) medium (14.8cm / 5.8in), extra large (29.5cm / 11.6in).
Note that the extra large variant is only available in white because shapeways does not provide polishing and/or colors for larger objects.
