Product Description
Model of an Elwell-Parker self propelled diesel-electric crane. On the prototype crane, the diesel motor powers the generator, and all the other functions of the crane are run electrically.
All parts to be 3D printed now designed and successful test print received (see pictures of painted and assembled test print).
Completion of model will require use of a styrene brake wheel from your spares pile; some Brass Rod and sheet for parts which are too fine to print; and, thread for rigging (and a lot of skill at working with tiny fiddly parts!).
