GoPro Large Tripod and Zip Tie Mount - 3/8" by 16

This mount works as both a zip tie mount and a tripod adapter mount.  To use this as a tripod adapter, just insert a 3/8" x 16 nut and it is ready to go.  Any standard hex nut with 3/8" by 16 threads per inch threading will work and the nut is secured once the GoPro mount is installed.  The distance from the bottom of the nut to the bottom of the mount is 0.10".

 

One side is engraved 'Made for GoPro' and the other side is engraved '3/8" by 16 Tripod'.

 

The product shown in the picture is of the standard, smaller thread.  The only difference between the two mounts is the size of the nut used; the size of the hole is therefore increased to accomodate the larger nut and the mount also thicker to accomodate the thicker nut.

 

Note:  If you order the strong and flexible plastic with a color added to it, it may be possible that some of the coloring applied may be stuck in the zip tie holes.  This is because all strong and flexible plastics are printed in white and just have a color applied as an outer coating.  To fix this, simply stick something in the hole to push out the excess material.  The latest updates of this model have increased the hole height from 0.075 inches to 0.1 inches to accomodate for this.
