Initial design study that led to the Do 335 heavy fighter of 1944/5 with two DB 605 engines mounted in tandem. The project was intended to have had a variable incidence wing but was cancelled in 1940 on the orders of Hermann Göring along with all other 'long term' projects.
I couldn't find any information on the size of this aircraft so scaled it from the width of the forward engine cowling.
The spherical recess underneath the model is for mounting it on a 4.5mm (.177") BB.
Revised (16-Jul-2013) with smoother canopy mesh to avoid unprintable 'jaggies'.
