HO 1/87 - 1989 GMC 6-horse box

This model was commissioned by a modeller who has an interest in horsebox vehicles. The model is based on the GMC 6-horse box, and is designed to fit a cut & stretched SceneMaster International 4900 1-axle van (part number 949-11290). The model has a detailed body, four partitions for the stalls, one left door, two right doors, one horse-ramp, one step-ramp (the customer wanted a step-ramp instead of the steps) and a roof. The doors are designed to be fitted with a small wire for the hinge, although the 'touch-fit' allows them to hold in place without this. The partitions can be moved for a four or six-horse configuration, and the ramps can be fitted or not. Sprues added to reduce cost.
