Falcon laser belly turret DRILLED for the DeAgo kit
HEADS UP: Shapeways doesn't offer any guarantee that the pre drilled hole for fiber optics of this cannon is clear from stuck wax inside. They say that a 0.25 mm hole can't be cleaned properly and the hole can get clogged with wax.
This is the first upgrade launched for the new DeAgo Falcon assembly kit, but now improved for fiber optics!
I've designed two holes on the cannons -one on each cannon-, in order that you can squeeze in a thin 0.25 mm fiber optics. You will need to clean the pre drilled holes because for sure you will find stuck wax inside. The wax is used as a support material on the SLS printing process. So first to all, clean the two holes thoroughly!!!
This laser belly turret has the approximate size to fit the new DeAgo kit, that has the dimensions of the original studio scale filming model Falcon.
This small laser turret pop ups from the Falcon belly when landed, as seen on the Episode V. This upgrade it's a special feature that you can't find on the Falcon kit
This upgrade it's a very close replica from the belly laser turret seen on the Ep. V. Now you've the opportunity to improve your Falcon with this small addition on the belly.
To add the turret to the Falcon you will have to open a window on the hull. You can attach the turret to the Falcon using the vertical built in stud.
You can improve the turret adding small tubing lines.
I've tried my best to match the original movie turret. I hope you will appreciate my effort to build this part to improve our Falcons.
