Here is a part I design a few years ago before I knew of Shapeways and someone asked me to make available if possible via shapeways. It is a basic mod for the Stern Star Trek Pro that goes over the spotlight on the rhs over the ramp. If you go the metallic plastic option you would not have to paint or do anything simply install and it would look perfect.
Installation is easy, simply remove the screw of the spotlight and slide the asteroid on to the post, then slide the spot light into position and then lastly place the screw down the home to clamp and fasten the spotlight and asteroid into place.
The asteroid has a cut out on one side for easier installation but this cut face faces the rear rhs of the cabinet so not seen by the player and helps give that LE look.
