Matchbox Pendant in color

A Matchbox Pendant composed of 2 parts-- the exterior casing and the sliding drawer (the connector piece can be cut when you receive it). After the drawer is slid into the exterior, a chain or cord is strung through the holes. This not only is the method to hang the pendant but acts as a stop for the drawer so it doesn't slide all the way out. This pendant is great for keeping a small photo or printed message. The depth also allows for something small (and thin) to be stored there as well. Or you can just wear it empty.
The chain of course is not included but you can easily add your own cord or chain (black rubber, leather, satin, gunmetal, etc). I recommend not going with anything larger than 2mm to make sure it slides through easily. If you would like to add a finished chain (with a clasp) here are a few on Amazon that should work:

Just be sure that the loop end of the necklace is no larger than 2mm so that it slides through the holes easily.
I recommend the black rubber cord just because the pendant in polished colors is super light weight and it hangs better on the rubber cord (leather sometimes has bends and kinks that only go away when a heavy enough pendant is hung from it.
