Product Description
Design:
BNC connectors are good for quickly connecting and disconnecting cables. This can also lead to situations where accidental disconnection is possible, either due to heavy vibration, or simply from a technician disconnecting the wrong cable at the wrong time.
This simple c-style clip snaps onto regular BNC connectors and locks the bayonet pins into place. Preventing the BNC cable from disconnection without first removing the band. For extra security a common zip style wire tie can be added to provide extra security.
The tabs have a knurled surface to provide a good grip during installation. The nylon material is heat resistant, strong, and long lasting. The clips are fully resuable.
Also available are free-spinning colored bands. (Non-locking)
Quantity and colors:
Ten (10) clips are included per order. Select from nine different colors per set.
To get multiple colors, select the color and add that set to your cart.
Note: Producing single clips is cost prohibitive.
Splitting up the clips:
The clips come joined together on a set of sprues. They can be seperated using flush cutters. Sand or file any remaining sprue material flat. The sprues are strategically located to be hidden after installation.

Removing the clip:
To remove the clip, cut away any wire tie you may have in place. Then use a small flat head screw driver or your fingernail to lift one side of the clip and pry it away. The clips are reusable.
Custom Colors:
If you want a color not available above: You can dye the parts using any colored permanent marker. Simply order the thumb tabs in white, and color them yourself. The Nylon material is slightly pourous and will hold color well. They may also be dyed using any fabric dye compatible with Nylon (Polyamide).

- Each clip has a small arrow on the top. Orient the arrow towards the end of the connector without a cable protuding from it. (Or towards your equipment)
- If the connectors are already mated: Snap the clip onto the connector and then rotate in a clockwise direction until the clip fully snaps into place.
- If the connectors are not yet mated: You can pre-attach the clip to the end of the cable, but be sure it is loosely attached and not in the locked position. Then after attaching the cable, rotate the clip clockwise until locked.
- For extra security: Add a small zip style wire tie to the outside of the clip.
