1:16 Fahrgerät FG 1250

1:16 scale 3D Model of a German WWII Night Vision Fahrgerät 1250 suitable for use on a Tamiya #56018 King Tiger.

The Model requires a 5-6mm long selftapping screw like the ones found in such model kits as a spare.

The base, which will most likely hang on a tiny sprue connecting it to the main part can easily be broken off and attaches to the MG Rail atop the Cupola - Mine just snugly fits onto it - Yours may end up a tad loose due to different tolerances in the process Shapeway uses ( their model should generally also have a better surface finish as I went with a lenient 50μm )

The model was mostly designed to add a little more detail to the tank without immediately snapping apart when looked at hence the lack of some minor details which should also make it easier to handle when adding the cables - Holes for them are modelled into the model but you may have to bore them out ever so slightly.
