Product Description
The most powerful tank to see service in the Rhunnish Empire. The JN-129 was designed as a hunter-killer for use against enemy land battleships, but also provided sufficient defensive value to protect Rhunnish cities from enemy armies. However, following the Empire's collapse, all 500 of these steam-powered, 700-tonne titans simply sat for about 60 years, most of them not being maintained at all. Because supporting steam-powered tanks, especially of this size, was a logistical nightmare, the SRA did not bother to refurbish and re-use the JN-129, favouring much smaller tanks. After all, 14 IS-2s or 26 T-34s (or their Rhunnish equivalents, the TSS-20 and BVS-60) could be built with 700 tonnes of steel. Many of these tanks were scrapped, though a few military installations kept a JN-129 or two on hand in case of attack. Note: the engraving on the bottom reads "Rhunnish Imperial self-propelled fortress JeN-129" and my name.
