E.464 der Trenitalia - die grösste Lokserie, die in Europa je beschafft wurde. Etwa 700 Exemplare dieses Typs verkehren jeden Tag auf Italiens Schienennetz auf kurzen und mittleren Distanzen.
Hergestellt werden diese seit 1999 von Bombardier.
Die Loks zeichnen sich durch ihre Robustheit und eine hohe Verfügbarkeit aus.
Sie verkehren ausschliesslich in Wendezügen.
