1/200 Messerschmitt Bf 109B (x2)

First production version of the infamous Messerschmill Bf 109 that was deployed with the German Condor Legion in supoort of the Nationalists in the Spanish Civil War. This aircraft was superior to all other fighters used in the SCW at medium and high altitudes and allowed Franco's forces to gain air superiority in that conflict. Based on experience gained with the  Bf 109B the Germans were able to develop new fighter tactics that capitalised on their high speed and up-to-date radio equipment.

The spherical depression under the model is for mounting it on a 4.5mm BB.
