My custom design for the Blackmagic pocket camera. It is very comfortable in the hand and when used with the upper carry handle "now available" it will naturally hang straight down instead of hanging to the side like the other cages on the market. NOTE: update no.1 The Note below is no longer needed as In the process of making the handle I found that oversizing the threaded mounting holes fixed the problem with them being a little to tight to work. Now the bolts will thread in right out of the Shapeways box! (OLD) NOTE: you will need a 1/4"-20 drill tap to chase (clean up) the threads. This is not a design flaw but rather a side effect of the 3D printing process which leaves small amounts of excess powder in the finished threads of the model.
