1/64th Cross gate 24' belly dump double trailers

This 1:64 S scale set of trailers are Cross gate 24 foot belly dumps, aka a 'pup' trailers, that are designed to work as a pair behind most any fifth wheel truck. They are offered in Frosted detail or Frosted Ultra Detail material, the FD being the most cost effective versus detail. I did not incorporate side boards on the top rim, as it is designed for thin strips of real wood which are available from numerous sources. As with any of the shapeways products, there will be prep work and minor sanding in order to ensure a quality finish. The additional parts are joined together with small rods, which need to be removed, the parts sanded flush. In order to save on costs, I did not make the chute gates operational. The trailer tongue will move up and down though, and the dolly turn appropriately. This trailer is available as a single trailer as well, should one prefer to run them as a single behind a dump truck, such as the concave side dump trucks I also have available on this site.
