HO 1/87 Dry Bulk Trailer 01

HO 1/87 Dry Bulk Trailer 01 3d printed Miniatures Vehicles
I'm now offering the WSF-P matrial option as this gives a fairly smooth finish, but does lose the sharp edges of features. Recent communications with customers suggest the White-Strong-Flexible material is more than suitable, but does need a primer-filler (Auto-shop, 'Duplicolour') paint to smooth out the 'powdery' finish. The holes in the tank ends are there to allow excess material to escape that are used in the manufacture process. But I've supplied two tank end-caps on a sprue, so they won't get lost in manufacture. Wheels have now been 'fixed' to prevent manufacture problems. My thanks again to Prof. Bill Guegold for the first images of these models ( Frosted Detail material) shown with a Con-Cor tractor cab (not supplied).

BTW, where is the sprue? I didn't get one

Just got my type 01 today. Fantastic! 2 Questions: 1) can anyone point me at prototype photos fro detailing? 2) what did you do to clean up the rastering on the sides? thanks!

Got the first two of these today - one round hatch and one oblong and they are FANTASTIC! Primed them in gray this evening. As with the real thing, there are unlimited possibilities for customizing them or just painting them and placing them around your cement plant, plastics plant, grain elevator, etc.. Way to go Barry!
