@mspalding Looks pretty crusty mike, I think something went wrong here with your print... I have no control over the prints but i'm sure shapeways will fix you up with a better one. Personally I'd get it in the White Detail material, even though it doesn't have the most appealing preview render, i think its the nicest material for this dice.

Here's a picture of metallic plastic. Steve recommends using a more detailed material.

Dang, I just received the Tech Dice D100 in metallic plastic and it is unusable. It looks nothing like the picture. The numbers are poorly formed barely indented. Did I pick the wrong material? Which material works?

I was hoping that these would be made in metal some day. Brushed stainless steel or tungsten carbide would look awesome! Hopefully they are solid metal and not hollow . . . would make a FANTASTIC paperweight

@LordVictorHalgaard It's possible shapeways might let it through in metal these days. let me know which material and i'll activate it for a while, they may reject the print in metals due to material drainage issues, but it wont cost you anything if they do. I could possibly provide the dice in 2 parts if that doesn't work.

Is there no chance of having it made from metal? I would instantly buy one if that was the case...

Steve, really amazing dice. Do you have the other six remaining dice from the picture below ? Can you make a set just like the picture ? Shape, color, everything ! http://coolhandgraphics.blogspot.com/2011/07/tech-dice.html?m=1

Do you have any other photos of this objects? Other photos of this objects made up with other materials?

@kevin Cook Thanks for the feedback! I'd recommend a higher detail material (is that WSF?) for crisper detail. If you would like it in a specific size please let me know.

I suggest making this die larger ... hollow ... and deeper indicia ... http://www.dicecollector.com/MINT33_SHAPEWAYS_STEVE3D_TECH_DICE_D100_01.jpg ... otherwise I really do like it :)
