Product Description
Mobius strips are one of the simplest examples of a non-orientable surface. Non-orientable surfaces are ones for which a consistent normal direction cannot be defined. In simpler terms, non-orientable surfaces have no defined front or back. Truly, no Mobius strip that exists as a real object is a true non-orientable surface, nor even a true Mobius strip. This is because orientability is one of the necessitating factors in creating a physical entity. Thickness must be added in order to create a properly manifold surface. Instead, consider this ring, and all other Mobius strips out there, to be merely a representation.
This Mobius strip representation gently twists around your finger to produce its simple-yet-elegant form. Perfect as a stackable ring or on its own as a subtle statement.
