@SteamPacket Sorry - you also asked about the Ben - all I did to her was decorative - the model is as supplied.

@SteamPacket I couldn't get to the Forum without registering - which I did last night, but I'm still waiting for a site administrator to OK my registration. Your ferrypubs model I'd guess is a 1/600 made by Les Hodder. I'm working on a master for MQ5 and LOM2 for my PierHead 1/1200 range at present. Other models are on display at; http://www.1250scale.com/1250Gallery.htm#PIER HEAD MODELS

@ChrisHankin Ah right, lots of work then. Did you have to do much to the Ben? Also, could you see the photo I posted a link to? If yes, I'll post a link to the only other model I have, the Lady Of Mann. Much better than the NK ones, good detailing. I got her from FerryPubs.

@SteamPacket Hi, Yes I got them from Neil at the time he brought them out. I've done quite a lot of work on the Viking - as bought her freeboard is way too low. I've added a plasticard base to give an extra 6ft or so of freeboard, and then attacked the hull with files to get the overall profile of her bow "looking right" - without a micrometer in sight. I've also got the Snaefell, which again looks too "Squashed", but haven't yet sorted out what to do to her.

@ChrisHankin Nice photos on your site. I see you also have the Ben-My-Chree & Viking. Where did you get these two models? Was it NK Collectables? I got a Viking from NK and it is nowhere near the quality of yours. http://www.shipsofcalmac.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=24778&d=1378672106

@concordskijr Hi , Yes I printed them myself - taken from IOMSP website drawing of Manannan, scaled using Corel Paint, and printed at 1200bpi on matte photo paper. I also made the "funnels" from plasticard sheet. More views of IOMSP fastcraft (and lots of others) on http://www.triangminicships.com/collectors_corner/dioramas/dioramas.htm Chris.

@ChrisHankin Still need to order my one! Can I ask how did you apply the side decal? Did you make it yourself?

Thanks for sharing your pictures @ChrisHankin. I'm very impressed with how well you've managed to paint it!
