Seven Bronze Leaves

Necklace and matching earrings that I (as many of my jewelry) made as a gift for my girlfriend. She asked for a nature inspired design, something simple so I had a look at different patterns of veins in leaves (or venation if you like) made her pick a nice one and modeled one. By only leaving the veins and the contour of the leaves I could make it nice and lightweight. Afterwards I went to the local jeweler, and got some ear hangers, chain, rings and clasps to make it wearable. It is a precision job since I wanted them all to face the same way, but it's no rocket science :) It's not just for girls though, if you get only one, and hang it around you neck with a cord, the effect can be quite subtle.
