haha it actually looks nothing like a blue whale. I should have had some reference pics to based my model on. let's just say it's a big hypothetical whale :)

some of the ideas behind this entry: - getting the most out of the titanium by maximizing surface area / more shiny surfaces - describing a complex object by taking a series of cuts through it, commonly done in architectural drawings, medical CT scans..etc (and in reverse with 3dprinting, constructing a complex object by building it up in layers) - a play on scale in minaturising a whale (it was supposed to be a blue whale.. but I think I've made the fins a bit too short :P) - exploring an interesting form.. bulky volume of a whale, and twisting like a fish
