Archer Warhead Mega-Upgrade - Head and Legs

Designed to upgrade Beast Hunters Bumblebee's Eagleshot Bow into a full-fledged partner-figure by giving it a real beast head and a set of articulated (at the hips) legs. The open jaw is designed to fit standard 5mm pegs. The eagleshot bow can be used with the gun/leg assembly attached or it can be detached to serve as a secondary blaster.

The missile has been tested in frosted detail, black strong & flexible and black detail plastic. It fits the launcher and Bumblebee's missile-ports perfectly and fires (slightly shorter range than the normal missile due to different weight and balance)

The legs/blaster of the model have been tested in frosted detail.

Keep in mind that polished strong and flexible plastics may have imprecise fits for handles and obscured details due to the polishing process.

My order for this Eagleshot upgrade arrived, printed in 'Black Strong and Flexible'. There's very minimal loss in detail over the 'Frosted Detail', and it looks just superb. While I was tempted just to buy the missile alone, the price difference between that and the full upgrade with guns and legs was very small and well worth the additional amount. This is the type of design work that Hasbro *should* be producing, and is a very innovative third party upgrade. Assembly is quite straightforward and suitable for children. Simply attach the 'gun' part to the base of the Eagleshot bow where the handle is, then place the two legs onto the gun. The Eagleshot can stand alone (sans Bumblebee), or Bumblebee can hold it like a falconer ready to launch. I think the Eagle looks better with just the head loaded (ie no replacement missiles) as it isn't really something you'd see in nature, like a bird bristling with weapons? C'mon! I like to think of the Eagleshot weapon as a standalone character now, independent of Bumblebee rather than just a 'lifeless' weapon. Reminds me of the Armada mini-cons how they were standalone characters that could also transform into a weapon. I hope the designer keeps working on Beast Hunter upgrades. There are so many cool characters in the range, but they're often missing cool weapons/accessories. Keep up the innovation!

I have one of these and it is great. I know I'm early, but I'll be eager to hear if that royal blue is an okay match for Night Shadow Bumblebee.
