Want to show me your new dice? Lets take it here...

Seems more like a general discussion thing....

Shapers, here is something to consider..

The more discussions in any given thread the more Google will rank it high on relevant searches - in this case, on searches made by Dice collectors from all over the world..

This high quality , TARGETED traffic is sent from Google to this thread then spread over to Shapeways.com which then generates new member sign ups, new fellow designers and yes also new orders.. for ALL our shops - that's growth.

So i see no reason why any member should feel annoyed perhaps if fellow designers shamelessly plug their Dice designs and showcase them to the opener of this thread... which in understatement didn't complain about this flood of new Dice designs, ready to be picked for his collection (and that's one picky Dice collector mind you :D )

I personally had a great time in the past 2 weeks entering this new niche which i had no idea existed and amazed by how i could materialize multiple designs/ideas of different shapes and themes.

BTW, Next month it will be 1 year since i joined Shapeways :)
I have to say i came along way from being a total 3D noob to making some of the nicest designs on Shapeways (including a shocking wining of SIGGRAPH 2010 contest).

So Shapers.. be creative, be productive , be competitive, be cool - it's all about fun ! (and some nice Franklins ;) )

    My 2c.

    Cheers,
    Dizingof

Thanks Gumball, two of mine are in your order... what material did you order them in? Reason I ask is that I ordered the Extruded & Chained dice myself in stainless.

I am collecting stainless steel exclusively. I'm really looking forward to seeing how those turn out.

I'm still going to purchase your octahedral D6 at some point, but I needed a couple D8's more, so a D6 or two that was in the basket didn't make it to the final order.

    Great.
I added a D8 early in the morning - check it out.

Today my in-box was cluttered by "Your model has been shipped" emails.
So Shapers who ordered - your dice (plural) is on its way to you! :)

The prehistoric stuff looks great, but again I'm only doing steel and if it gets over the$18-$20 mark, I'm not likely to buy it unless it is something really über-cool, like your swirl die.

Glad to hear others are buying. Keep it up!

So what are we talking here for discount? I'm not committing to buy (cause I just made a big orer), but I'm most interested in the following:

    SS Prices for the following;
    Chaos D6 Dice $30.50
    Steiner Surface D4 Dice $34
    Twisted D6 Dice $25.30
    Kepler-Poinsot polyhedron D12 Dice $32.40
    Octahedral Dice $19.50
    Fractal Dice $38.40

    ss Steiner is $10 less

SS Octahedral Dice will cost you just $9.5

    etc..

OK, I'll definitely take you up on these two,

    Octahedral Dice
    Twisted D6 Dice

I'd also like to get these three, but I'm going to have to "discuss" this with the little woman.

    Chaos D6 Dice
    Kepler-Poinsot polyhedron D12 Dice
    Fractal Dice

If you discount these five, I promise to get the two, and hopefully some of the other three.

    Done.

Ok , all 5 dice now have a markup of only 10 cents (so not to confuse the system) until Monday.

    Enjoy
