Colored Marbles

    Thanks for the kind words Facenna.

    Honestly, being only a male :rolleyes: , I do not wear those beads.
    The ones I have at home are still as good as the first day.

    This being said, I am not a fan of the wax coating: you can scratch the surface with your nails and cannot wash them with water, soap and a brush. If you do so, the surface become white and opaque.
    To get rid of the scratches and of the opacity, you can put the marbles in an oven at 60°C: the wax become transparent again.

    So I guess that if you put the oven at more than that (Sandstone without wax can stand up to 280°C) then you will probably get rid of the wax.

    As a post-production, I guess that sanding them and then coating them with an epoxy spray should work very well (read this).

    But clearly this is still an experimental phase for Color Sandstone as jewelry...
