Hi everyone, I'm Phil. I've been a 3D artist for over 20 years, working in TV, film, and print. I have a also helped a lot of people who needed 3D models to print with Shapeways and I also have half a dozen 3D printers myself (resin and filament). I'm available now. If you'd like work examples you can see my Shapeways shop in my signature or my website, https://philnolan3d.com

I also have a YouTube channel where I do things like reviewing 3D printers and 3D scanners. https://YouTube.com/@3dJapan

    Thanks.

Hy there i can see your post and i must say

    1. Expertise in 3D Modeling: The artist would have mastered the art of creating 3D models of objects, characters, environments, and more using software like Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, or ZBrush.

    2. Texturing and Shading: They would be skilled in applying textures and materials to 3D models to make them look realistic or stylized, as well as setting up shaders for lighting effects.

    3. Rigging and Animation: The artist would have a deep understanding of rigging characters and objects for animation, as well as animating these rigs to bring them to life.https://www.adpworkforce-now.com/

    4. Lighting and Rendering: They would know how to set up lighting in a 3D scene to create mood and atmosphere, and they would be adept at rendering scenes to achieve high-quality final images or animations.
    Thanks and regards

I have a model exported from Unity as a GLB file. Is there something special I need to do to export from Blender with materials?

I've tried importing the GLB into Shapeways as-is, and it doesn't see the materials/textures.

I tried exporting from Collada in Blender and it didn't seem to save the material in Shapeways.

I can see the GLB materials in Blender - they are visible in the shader view as Base Color, and I can import them into Unity with the textures.

Sorry I don't know anything about GLB or blender.
