    Hi there
I am testing the possibility of a shop, there are some bugs out there.

    I have a shop: my3dstudio
I have set my shop currency in euro

    attached: 1_guest
: screen shot from the product in the shop from the point of view
of a guest (not logged in)
Price is listed in Dollar, 82.11 $

attached: 2_own account : screen shot from my own account
product is listed in Euro, 64.54 €

attached : 3_mark-up : Screen shot from the mark up from the product
As you can see currency is set in €

How comes that a non-logged hin user sees Dollar, i have set € in the shop settings.

beside that the exchange rate is wrong, 64.54 € is 69 $ and not 82.11 $
hiw comes the ammount is displayed in $ and whith a wrong calculation?

    Is it a known bug?
that doesn't make sense for a potential customer, beside i am wondering if shapeways would cash hin the wrong
ammount( 82.11 $) and pay my markup whith the lower ammount ( calculated out of 64.54 €)?

    Can you help me here,
    is there a solution?
    Rgds

    Hello,
I have already tried to understand, I think I have understood.
If the customer is not known by shapeways (for his preferences) it is anyway $, if the customer is known (as you are) it is the currency of his choice or that of the country of connection and including all taxes According to the VAT of the country of the customer.
Your margin is always in the price (even for you, but will not be charged)
    Did I answer your question?

    cordially
    The

Visit my shop and watch my new products
    thank you

Seems the "includes VAT" in the heading of the markup table is misleading - more likely the 64.54 € / 69 $
is without VAT - your "guest" view appears to use dollar currency with German(?) VAT (probably geolocated from your IP address) given that 69*1.19 = 82.11. Your own "preview of how others will view" has the price without VAT again (probably correct for a generic non-European guest).

While not logged in, a guest sees this. They can pick their local currency as they wish.
While logged in, the default currency is a user setting.
