Hi
Im looking to build an E-Candle
something that looks like
http://www.hero-ledstore.com/images/categories/Original-Cand le-Replacement.jpg
3d printing seem the way to go to build it
the interior will hold the battery and a control pcb
I would like to have mostly the flame illuminated
But im not very good in cad (only did some 123D)
so here are my questions:
1. what material should be used?
2. is it possible to use different matirial for the base and for the flame? (must have 2 different part?)
3. is there anyone who would like to help me up with cad (or start a project for it)?
Thanks guys

Do you just need help learning to the CAD to create the Candle or are you looking to hire someone to design the candle for you?
If you are looking for a designer, I am your guy. Shoot me a PM if your interested and check out my website (http://JakeDrews.Com) and my Shapeways Shop (http://wondrouswidgets.com) in the meantime!

I see, I do not have any experience with 123D (although it looks interesting...)
But you CAN use different materials, they would have to be 2 different parts though. I recomend using the WSF material, since its cheaper...however, you could use the Sandstone material for the body and WSF or Transparent Detail for the flame. This is deffinitely something that you will have to try out and play with a little bit.
Good luck!
Let me know if I can help you with anything
