I feel slightly weird about this as fair use, since it's commercial, and while I appreciate that he has contacted me, it would be more usual to do that before using the design. On the other hand I like the stuff a lot: I bought one, which doesn't happen every day. And he's cool with me adding the photo to my product page, so it has value to me.
Anyway, I thought this is of general interest because the photos are nice, and also because I don't know whether he has contacted everyone whose designs are represented. If not, I hope that people will be pleased to see an interesting photo rather than annoyed about the commercial use, but either way you probably want to know.
