3d Cockpit crew (seperated) for DeAgostini Millennium Falcon

Discussion in 'General Discussion' started by 1079486_deleted, Feb 26, 2016.

  1. I just received my cockpit crew for the Millennium Falcon, and would like to know what I should use to glue the pieces together? Also, can they be painted with an acrylic paint? Thanks for any help!

That would probably be printed in the "frosted ultra detail" or "frosted extreme detail" acrylic material I guess ?
According to a recent discussion thread here, a polyurethane-based glue appears to be preferable to standard cyanoacrylate "superglue".
Painting tips can be found in this thread (and several others in the Post Production Techniques section), it is important that one washes off any remaining traces of the (initially clear) waxy support material (and the various oils that may have been used to remove it at shapeways) before painting.
