  1. erm, first of all, hi everyone, I'm new here AND also a newbie with modeling..
    so,
I tried to upload one of my first works here and I've ordered the stainless steel version of it, and it finally arrived.

My issue is that the final object is sooooo much less detailed than the 3D model and I wanted to know if it's beacuse of the material I choosed or for.. some reason I'm currently unaware of.

I uploaded a obj file, the ring is sculpted using Zbrush.

final object in real life: https://41.media.tumblr.com/e87e6acf97166e277db1f184eb1246af /tumblr_o2soqpi3Ud1ttr9d6o1_1280.jpg

Thanks in advance for the help, hope I'm not writing this in the wrong forum's section

The problem is most likely the minimum embossed detail specification requirement for Stainless Steel material. When detail dimensions are below the minimum required by the printer, it may not be able to accurately reproduce them. The minimum embossed (extruded) detail for Steel is 1mm high and wide. The same for engraved (intruded) details. So your current details simply aren't high or deep enough to print in steel.
