Hello people of shapeways My name is Lewis Hempkin and I am a junior design engineer from the UK. I currently work within the marine industry and I enjoy product design. I have 4 years experience in working with 3D CAD design software. I currently use NX (unigraphics) but I have experience with Solidworks, keycreator and spaceclaim. I have had 1 product 3D printed from shapeways and it was a complete success. 1st time lucky I guess. I am currently studying mechanical engineering also and I am using 3D printing as a topic for my engineering research so I am very interested in hearing from you guys. I am also interested in becoming a designer on shapeways in the engineering/product design sector but just send me your ideas and I will let you know what I think.
