My jpegs aren't showing up, when I upload them to Shapeways, but instead it's grey scale. I must be missing something during my export out of 3ds max to OpenCOLLADA. Maybe baking these materials before export a possibility? (not familiar with baking) Can someone please help, much appreciated :)

I am not too familiar with dae, but assuming that your jpeg textures are separate files that you upload in a zip file with the dae, open your dae file in a text editor and make sure that the filename is in there somewhere and does not have any folder names or drive letter prepended. (There does seem to be a provision in the dae file format for embedding the texture image data itself in the dae, but I do not know if any software actually does that)
