I just got my first 3D print in the mail. I got it in polished nickel steel. i was expecting it to me a bit more polished, but I still think it looks pretty good. Let me know what you think.
Turned out nice! I like the tiered detail on the radial forms,...reminds me of weathered stone in a Japanese garden. Well done!
I think it turned out great! It does have a very Zen garden feel to it. I'm waiting on some polished steel prints at the moment, and I'm also a little surprised by the lack of shininess of your print compared to how the materials are presented on the shapeways materials page. Hmmm...maybe someone from shapeways can chime in on why there is such a big difference? Kimberly
