Soldering prints

Is it possible to solder earring posts to the metal prints? If so which metals are the best to solder to? Do any metals deform the print fast when heat is applied?

Yes it's possible and all depends on which metal you're referring to.

Silver it is the same grade you expect for casting .925 here the datasheet https://www.shapeways.com/rrstatic/material_docs/mds-silver. pdf where it is noted that it is "easy to solder".

Slightly off-topic, but is it possible to solder a silver print onto a brass print? I have an idea for a two-part model. It would be my first soldering attempt, so I'd probably practice on some scrap first.
