These Light Switch Earrings have a moving switch, so you can be turned on! Oddly enough, I have had a long fascination with light switches. It started in high school after being inspired by Magritte's painting of a pipe that reads "This is not a pipe." As an homage I drew a giant light switch, rendered as realistically as I could and taped it to my wall. A few years later I made a giant cardboard replica of a light switch with working screws and my buddy made a screwdriver to match. It seems only logical that many years later I have the opportunity to 3d print a tiny light switch that can be a funny conversation piece. This seems like a nice decorative feature for doll houses. They might be a teeny bit too large for 1:12 scale but they seem close!
@MrNib Yeah, they started off to scale, but I ended up changing the proportions to improve the design. There is something intriguing about having such small switches though.
