Has anybody used the Shapeways API integration in a 3d CAD program?

I'm looking for a more streamlined way to upload a large quantity of models to Shapeways and it was suggested to use the API, but I really have no idea how to integrate it into a CAD program.
I'm not a programmer, so if anybody could explain how this could be implemented I would appreciate it.
