    Hi.

Some of my full color models looks wrong in the 3d view.

This is a real problem cause is in theory the only tool has the costumer to check the model he wants to buy.

    That's what I say:

    https://www.shapeways.com/model/1774361/1-87-full-color-hous e-cottage.html?li=aeTabs

This happened before with some private models, like this

    https://www.shapeways.com/model/1722035/robots-y-stuff-4.htm l?li=aeTabs

But for another models in sale , the public 3d view is inexistent, never appeared

    https://www.shapeways.com/model/1625984/1-160-x20-skeleton-i n-coffin.html?li=my-models&materialId=61

    https://www.shapeways.com/model/1625396/1-160-x20-skeleton.h tml?li=related-items-ext&materialId=61

It's possible to delete the auto view (sometimes faces of figures looks dirty or ugly in full color) and 3d view from the model picture list?

    Regards

    Luis

    That's a nice house!

One thing I've found with colour models is that the 3D view shows what will be printed.
And a reason for colours being misplaced or showing up wrong is due to parts of the model not being properly unioned together before colouring.
Shapeways MeshMedic software likes a single shell for colours, so when there's two (or more) shells the software will union the shells first and then apply the UV colour map whch can lead to colours being in the wrong place.

    Thanks, Paul.

Rare, cause the private 3d view looks correct. What's the view that matches the real printing model?

I'm having consecutive rejections of the robots model (but no for this reason), and I haven't really chance to test color models.

Models for some customers in full color doesn't be printed wrong, but in these models rotating view was correct.

    Anybody from Shappy Team here?

Customer finally doesn't like the house.

    Regards

    Luis

Hey that's my model (digitale CTA)

It's caused by the software that runs the 3d viewer, it's outdated and sometimes causes textures to show up wrong.
Model will still be printed with the correct textures as shown in the upload render :)

Well, then I think is urgent to can delete this 3d (wrong) view if the designer wants, before this bug scares the potential customers.
