I need help converting mine designs from specialised design/planning packages into a format ready for 3D printing. The end result should look something like a 3D printed topography - but with added mining specific features. I am thinking about ACAD as I probably won't be able to purchase 'new' software. I am comfortable with CAD drawing in general, but want help with the method of converting an existing dwg file to proper scale and wall thickness and also in colour so I can get the surface colours/contours represent something. I can do this as a Lync meeting where I share a screen or as a face-to-face in Brisbane (or whatever way we can share screens).
