Hello Shapeways forums!
My name is Robbert van derVelden, from Hilversum, The Netherlands.
I studied Game Design for 4 years, but am employed as a 3D Visualizer/ CGI Artist at Sinot Yacht Design in Eemnes, Netherlands.
I first wanted to try out Shapeways to create an action figure-ish character of the main character from a game I created last year.
That actually never happened, but when my girlfriend started designing and creating various bracelets and earrings, I started designing jewelery myself.
Besides rings, I have also created the full set of Prestige Emblems from Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, to try out 3D printing.
