I'm working on this fish design in Blender. From my previous sandstone prints, I've been impressed how the fine detail comes out. So I've added a "scale" pattern to the fish body. I'm hoping the contrast will look interesting.

I added some details including some fins at the bottom to make the model stand on a flat surface. I think it is ready to print.

After experimenting in Blender, I created this 3D scaled effect. I think this will be the body of my next fish model.

I wonder how good the inside corners of those square holes will come out?

I'm interested too. I'm going to get both these printed to see how far I can push the sandstone printing.

I had to make some changes to the scale pattern. I think this will work for the second fish model.
