Hi Shapeways fans, Gear and Slide combines gearing and sliding in a single twisty puzzle. Such a combination was suggested by Khaled Habbab. After rejecting a whole bunch of puzzle concepts that are either unstable or no fun to play, this one was selected. The puzzle combines 23 sliding pieces and a void with eight turning corners. All corners turn in the same direction, reusing the gear designs from Polo Gear Cube for the internal gearing mechanism. Watch the YouTube video. Buy the puzzle at my Shapeways Shop.
