Hello, from frozen Canada. Been lurking for a while now. Interested in getting better at 3D modeling and am very interested in 3D printing.

Right now I'm using Blender for all my modeling as the price is right. Smile

I've posted a few things I've made at http://www.shapeways.com/shops/eodesign or head over to my blog at http://stevendownie.wordpress.com to see what I'm up to! My goal is to get good enough at modeling to be able to upload a miniature figurine and have it printed out.

If you're impatient with your minifig, we have some easy creators that you can make them with http://www.shapeways.com/creator/

I'll keep that in mind if I get stuck. But driving yourself crazy learning new software is just part of the fun! And unlike everything else in my life, there is no deadline so I can take as much time as I want to learn!
