Alumid polished

  1. To paint a object wchich is made from Polished Alumid how to handle.
    What kind of paint can be used on this kind of material and is it easy to paint by airbrusch????

    Alumide is basically the same as White Strong Flexible material. This means it is quite porous and will suck up paint, similar to painting on kitchen paper.

    To be able to paint sharp edges you will have to prime or varnish it first, preferably with several layers.

    I don't think it makes much difference whether you use a paintbrush use an airbrush.

    To what Karl said, why not print in polished wsf? Or are you planning to only paint over part of the Alumide?
