Stone Loader for Diorama

    After the disappointing change to pricing that hit my Shop, I thought I'd better post something positive as Shapeways isn't all bad :)

    I built this diorama for a contest, the stone loader is a 3D printed model printed in FUD. The structure is made up of 0.45mm-ish thick struts. The structure is about 10cm long. The model is built to 1:160th scale.

    Terrific job, you're entire layout looks amazing! Seeing all these neat models make me want to get back into HO scale. :p

    Wow, great work. Seeing stuff like this makes me want to get into model train stuff. I just know Ill never have the time at the moment though.

    But yeh the model is flawless, good to see exactly how crazy you can go with the tiny details with that material.


    Oh and your rocks look better than the real life ones :cool:

    I made the rocks from cork bark, the bark of the cork tree. Simple but effective! :)
