Yes , with sketchup... all my work is done with sketchup
I have to point out to
every one who considers using sketchup that before i stumbled upon the
community plugins i couldn't do much with it ..
Now it is a very powerful, intuitive and
very productive 3D modeling software.
After i model with sketchup i export the 3D object to a .STL file and can do lots of extra stuff on it with other software such as prep it for 3D printing.
I also use a special process to coat it with a 0.2-0.5mm extra thickness all over, to give it not just the minimum thickness needed for 3D printing but also an organic look you're seeing in the pictures above.
This is a very cool process that i've started using recently.
